Aviation Renewables has made an additional contribution to the UN World Food Programme (WFP) to support ongoing human aid relief and food assistance throughout the Horn of Africa. With the WFP’s goal of trying to reach 11 million people throughout the drought-affected region, additional financial assistance is urgently needed from corporate and individual donors to provide the lifesaving food and assistance to those in need. As a continued focus to positively contribute to the environment, humanitarian causes and social networks in areas of the world where Aviation Renewables carries out work, a percentage of revenues are directed to helping organizations in need. Ongoing work for the supply and support of solar power airfield lighting solutions throughout the Horn of Africa and its neighboring African nations is helping to provide support aid and security operations in order to improve the living conditions throughout the region.
