Aviation Renewables has received an order to supply multiple Solar Series Runway Guard Lights to an Air Force base in the United States. Supplied by its US partner, Flight Light Inc., the Solar Series RGLs will operate 24/7 with no need for conventional power inputs. The self-contained runway guard lights will add a margin of safety to ground operations at the base, reducing the risk of runway incursions by both vehicles and aircraft. Working in coordination with the end user and Flight Light Inc., Aviation Renewables was able to select the correct product and performance application, ensuring that renewable lighting solutions continue to increase safety at airfields, while reducing both economic costs and environmental footprint.
