Victoria BC, Canada. 23 Feb, 2011 --
Aviation Renewables will deliver the Solar Series LED PAPI and the Apollo solar powered LED airport beacon to support humanitarian aid operations in Africa. Working with its partners Laser Guidance Inc. and Avlite Systems, the Solar Series LED PAPI and Apollo airport beacon will be used in conjunction with the AV425-RF solar LED portable airfield lighting system. The remote airfield required a tactical solution that was portable, self contained, frangible, radio controlled and able to meet FAA LED intensities in both visible and infrared lighting outputs for a two box PAPI. Working with multiple partner manufacturers, customer requirements and
international airfield lighting specifications, Aviation Renewables was able to draw from previous experience where the Solar Series LED PAPI and APAPI has been used to support civil, humanitarian aid and defense operations for both portable and permanent operations. Should the Solar Series LED PAPI need to be moved, the solar system could be retracted from the airfield with the LED two box PAPI rapidly folded up for easy storage, transport and redeployment. The Solar Series LED PAPI and APAPI systems are the most advanced system in industry today with the greatest number of installations globally. Clients such as the US Forces, international airports and international corporations continue to work with Aviation Renewables and its strategic partners of industry leading aviation manufacturers.
