In a November 18th posting Jane's Airport Review discussed the use of LED solar airfield lighting in airports around the world. The article contains a good overview of the new range of EAGLE lights from Sierra Nevada Corp and Avlite that form the basis of the solar airfield lighting system with cable backup. This form of solar and cable hybrid airfield lighting system is only available through Aviation Renewables and the ARC partner network.
