The DALMAS system features a rapid, easy-use-system to measure the photometrics of airfield lighting. Quantitative measurement of a specific light's output makes compliance with ICAO 10.4.1 very straightforward. Unlike other light-measuring devices, the DALMAS is capable of operating day or night. This allows the airport to take advantage of any slow period, limiting impact on airport operations and reducing overtime.
The DALMAS system is rain and dust resistant. The schedule for light measurement can be accomplished in almost any weather, making the planning and contingency process much easier.
The DALMAS software outputs histograms, maps and other reports to help streamline maintenance planning, track problem areas and optimize inventories for replacement lights.
