Working with Aviation Renewables, a consulting firm focused on providing renewable airfield lighting and power solutions to the international aviation industry, GBIA was able to identify the best solution for their needs. They required a reliable, high quality solar powered taxiway edge light to replace a previously installed non-servicable taxiway lighting system. By choosing the Avlite AV70, the airport will be able to provide dusk till dawn solar taxiway edge lighting with no requirement for infrastructure, energy costs, maintenance or carbon powered electrical systems.
