Complies with:

  • FAA 150/5345-46D L861E
  • ICAO Annex 14 5.3.10

The portable LED RTEL (Runway Threshold End Light) is a battery powered bi-directional Threshold/Stop End Light that utilises the latest in LED light engine technology. Built to comply with FAA 150/5345-46D L861E standards, the portable LED Runway Threshold End Lights (RTELs) are designed to be located at each end of the runway to identify the runway end or threshold of a visual or instrument non-precision runway.

Ergonomically constructed to endure all weather environments, the LED RTEL is the most installed portable battery powered LED threshold light in its class. Rapid ‘drop in’ charging and extensive run times cut down on management and maintenance costs, lowering the total cost of ownership for LED runway lighting applications. Available in radio, manual or photocell control, the LED RTEL can be operated in visual, infrared or dual mode output for day and nighttime operations. With run times of more than 200 hours at FAA intensities, the LED runway threshold end lights can be used for temporary, emergency or semi-permanent LED runway lighting operations for extended periods of time before needing recharge.
