Avlite Systems has been awarded a contract to supply solar powered LED AV72-RF-IR portable helipad lighting systems with hand held radio controllers, pelican cases, frangible tile mounting systems, tool kits and battery chargers. Providing encrypted 2.4 Ghz control using the AVMesh Network, the Avlite helipad lighting systems will support both visible and NVG operations in remote areas of Afghanistan. The AV72-RF-IR includes RF control with 18 LEDs made up of 12 visible green and 6 infrared, a 16Ah 3.6v NiMH battery & external charge port.
