In reference to Avlite Systems’ solar LED airfield lighting:

"The lights have been installed and are working just fine.  In fact they are turning out to be some of the better solar taxiway lights that we have used to date (and we have gone through about three different brands). Very effective in the evenings with the illumination near that of the incandescent.  In fact I will be needing some additional lights...."

In reference to the 200 Avlite AV70 solar obstruction lights installed throughout Edmonton Airport in Canada.

"We are extremely busy here at Edmonton international Airport (YEG) this summer what with expansion and all. As far as the solar lights, if you are referring to the obstructions on the fenced construction area, they work seamlessly. This was a huge savings in time and material to run a temporary circuit/s to feed incandescent obs lighting. They are very, very visible in the darkest of night conditions. We have had several foggy mornings recently which required that we go to our reduced visibility ops plan and these things keep on shining ever so brightly. Great investment and low operating costs, (obviously) completely portable, maintenance friendly and well worth the cost. Set em' up and forget em till they are looking to take down the fenced area."

"In response to your recent email, we did receive the solar airfield lights.  We have already begun using the lights to replace missing/damaged lights at the dozens of airfields and helicopter landing zones throughout northern Iraq.  As a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot, I can attest to the importance of the solar airfield lights in all of our military aviation operations.  With the lack of reliable electrical powered lighting systems, your company's solar lights provide dependable lighting every day in the most austere of environments.  They allow us to conduct aviation operations safely and effectively."

"We have had the AV70 Avlite solar powered lights installed on the Seeley Lake airport for about  3 years now.  They are a very well built, durable product.  We had a small airplane land on the snow and skid over 4 of the lights breaking them apart.  When we brought them back to the shop and untangled them 3 of the 4 lights still worked and our mechanic was able to re-wire the 4th light and get it working again.  With a little clear RTV we were able to put them all back in service."

"Good morning, the lights are working fantastic thus far and we have had no issues.  I will get a picture at night and send it to you in the near future."
