The recent acquisition by the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Venezuela INAC of a lot of solar aviation lamps AV72 and AV420 radio controlled, manufactured by Avlite Sistems, is part of a program of modernization and equipment for the National System of  Search and Rescue SAR.

The INAC, after a period of study and comparison of existing equipment in the international market, concluded that the Avlite lamps fully met the demands and requirements  for the SAR operations within the Venezuelan territory.

"This new system will give greater mobility to SAR operations, especially in those areas where aeronautical infrastructures are insignificant. We are very happy with the Avlite lamps and we think we are going to be very helpful to fulfill our goal of making the national air operations increasingly safe." said a spokesman for the National Civil Aviation Institute of Venezuela."

Yes, the lights work in the flash mode, I just have to figure out how to get them in the right order LOL. We know what we need to do and you have been a great help.  I have heard nothing but positive feedback on the lights from the aviators that use the airfield.

Thanks a Million

Thank you for your very prompt response. You had some good ideas on how to work with the IR/visible. I think we just need the aviators to get used to the lighting. The lights are working great. We are still putting some around the FOB.
